• What is Crime Stoppers?
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1000 to anyone furnishing anonymous information that leads to the arrest of criminals, including those committing serious felony crimes, and fugitives.

Information is received through anonymous Crime Stoppers tips that are received through a secure tips line or through a secure web connection manned by a professional program coordinator.

• $5000 grant awarded to Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers
October 2007 Azko Nobel awarded the GBACS a $5000 donation to be used for community purposes.Some of the money was used to sponcer rec nights at the middle schools and the Beloit Memorial High School Key Club dance.

Crime of the Week - February 4, 2008

On February 01,2008 an attempted arm robbery occurred in the area of Roosevelt and Cross. B/m approximately 5'4" and 140 lbs in late teens approached the victim w/ a handgun and demanded his property. The victim was struck in the head and the b/m suspect left in an unknown direction.
