• What is Crime Stoppers?
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1000 to anyone furnishing anonymous information that leads to the arrest of criminals, including those committing serious felony crimes, and fugitives.

Information is received through anonymous Crime Stoppers tips that are received through a secure tips line or through a secure web connection manned by a professional program coordinator.

• $5000 grant awarded to Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers
October 2007 Azko Nobel awarded the GBACS a $5000 donation to be used for community purposes.Some of the money was used to sponcer rec nights at the middle schools and the Beloit Memorial High School Key Club dance.

Crime of the Week - April 21, 2008

The Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers is looking for information to an Armed Robbery which occurred on 02-24-08 a little after 9 p.m. at the Clark Gas Station, 903 Broad Street. There were two white males that were involved in this robbery. The first white male was wearing a camouflage hooded coat, was thin, and was about 6 feet tall. The other white male was medium build, wearing a tan or light brown coat and was about 5 feet 9 inches tall. Both were seen getting into a dark colored car which left south on Park Avenue into South Beloit.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime is to call Crime Stoppers at 362-7463 or 36-CRIME. All callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.00 if the information provided leads to an arrest. Crime Stoppers does not have caller ID.
